Any resident of Winter Harbor who is 18 years or older may register to vote at the Town Office during regular business hours, at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, or on Election Day.
To register, you must provide proof of residency in Winter Harbor, such as a Maine driver's license with your local address. If you use a P.O. Box, you’ll also need to provide documentation showing your physical address in town—acceptable forms include a utility bill, car insurance policy, or similar official document.
Absentee Ballot Requests
If you need an absentee ballot, there are several ways to request one:
- In Person: Visit the Town Office to pick up an application.
- By Email: Request an application by emailing the Town Office. deputyclerk@winterharborme.org
- By Phone: Call the Town Office to request a ballot. Please note: each voter must speak directly with a staff member to complete the request.
Be sure to request your absentee ballot early to allow time for processing and mailing.
